I really enjoyed the second round of The Shack book discussion last night! The wild women that we were, we closed Panera down (pretty nutty, huh!?) – heck, that’s practically my bedtime!
Very few things in life rate more enjoyable to me than lively, honest discussions with intelligent and fun women! And since they lost the thumb war, I get to post their pretty faces, for your viewing pleasure, right here on my blog!
(From left to right) Front row: Levinia and Kathy, the back row: me, Kathy and Lynn
(the gal who’s responsible for getting me into The Shack to begin with!)
The next book discussion will be posted here at a later date – after my niece, Winter, is born (who does not appear to be complaining about her current home!)!
It would mean so much to me if you’d say a prayer for my sister, Mary, and niece, Winter, that they have the labor and birth they desire! I hope to be in the delivery room with them on the big day, so after the big day, I’ll post the next discussion date.
Have I mentioned lately how much I dig this book?!?

Sadly Mimi, you know truth of that statement of how fast I can actually drive! The sports “K” car bore the brunt of that life lesson!
Just to clear the air, I’ve been wondering, would if be considered wrong if after Winter’s born, I have a bonding moment with her first? What, it’s not like you won’t be around her, her entire life?!?! Is that too much for her Aunt Dink to ask?!?!
Other thing….would you feel comfortable if NJ, Bea and I wave pom poms and chant a little cheer that I’ve come up with? And, you know I can rap, so that’s an option too – Run DMC had nothin’ on me in the 80′s!
He, he!
Love you too Sis! Can’t WAIT to meet my newest niece!
I’m SO with you Kim! Why don’t you just get your cute little self up here to talk about it with some Virginians?!?! I’ll buy the coffee?!? What, the day long commute to get here doesn’t sound good to you?!?!
Hey Steph! I finished The Shack a couple of weeks ago and can’t get it outa my head! I’ve recommended it to everyone I know. What an awesome book!
Thanks for the shout out, Dink! And for the prayers and good wishes…hope you know how to drive fast!! Can’t wait to see you, Auntie. xo
