I love getting fun mail! You know the kind of mail that’s not a bill or advertisement…that actually has a personal, handwritten signature at the bottom of it!
I also love sending “fun mail”! I have a card organization system that makes it a tad easier to get ahead of birthdays instead of behind. (I have 13 nieces and nephew…birthdays are always popping up!) I keep a stash of cards to make the fun mail making’ moments easier!

I’m glad you asked!

Fun mail means so much to me that I keep special ones in a blue box, that I read over when I need a pick-me-up!
Are you a card keeper or do you read and throw away?

I take after my Mom (so do you) she kept two shoe boxes full of cards. Each box divided into spaces for birthday, anniversary, and so on. I also love getting “real” mail. Time to write my Va. pen pal.
Love knowing this about Grandma! I also love my NJ pen pal!!!
Love it! I am a total card keeper, I have EVERY card my husband and I have ever given each other. Then I started saving for the whole family. I got 4 good sized plastic containers, labeled them with mine, hubby’s and both kids names and every time we get a special note I throw it in the bins. Hoping the kids will enjoy reading those later in life. I know I enjoy having them all now.
You’re such a sweet sentimental heart, Les! That’s one of the many things I adore about you!
