Happy Friday!  Grin

I’m excited to announce that EIH has expanded and become part of a new community called FaithVillage.

There was one “welcome mat” there that I just could not deny…God wants me there.

Welcome | EVERYONE KNOWS BLOGGERS ARE OVERCAFFEINATED

And to that I lift my near empty coffee mug and say a most sacred, “Amen!”  Coffee

Wondering if you’d go take a look-see and see what you think! And, if you join – let’s be friends there too!!!! And if you’re on Facebook, I’d love for you to click “Like” on my Encouraged in Heart – Stephanie Fink page!  If ya do, you’ll get little encouragements throughout your day and find out little tid-bits like where I’m going tonight!  (I’m sure you won’t lose any sleep not knowing but you should click “Like” anyway!!)  And, for a technically challenged gal that still doesn’t text (maybe tomorrow…maybe not), I’m even on Pinterest.

Phew. That’s a whole lot of virtual-ness.

This whole doing life virtually thing is awesome and kinda scary-weird.

Do you have a virtual life? Where? What boundaries do you have in regard to online communities? Where has it worked and not worked for you! (I feel like I should put a “WASSUP?!” right here!)

Now, I’m leaving you now so I can actually go touch someone.  Well, hopefully not…I’m going for a bike ride and it’ll hurt! Smile

Command and teach these things. Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set and example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12
My young son and I went out to our fav tree,
and spread out a blanket to have a good read.
Excited to explore that Horton Hears a Who!,
In only the way the Dr. Seuss could do.

We took turns reading alternate pages,
while the sun kept on beamin’ it’s glorious wages.
We snuggled and savored the scrumptious spring season,
We laid on our bellies and laughed for no reason.

I heard from the distance something a-chuggin’,
A bus full of kids that were clearly a-buggin’.
The yellow tank stopped in front of our house,
and found that it wasn’t as quiet as a mouse.

Four middle schoolers emptied in rowdy behavior,
A young girl stepped down and spoke a loud flavor.

My Horton didn’t hear a “Who!” he heard, “Mother F_____!”
This mother rose up to confront such a YUCKER.

I spoke directly, without any waiver.
“You listen right now, I won’t stand your behavior!
My seven year old son is sitting right here!”
She looked ashamed and then stared like a deer.

I had one last comment, and as I adjusted my hat,
“Respect yourself more than to talk like that!”

I returned to my blanket with a noticeable frown.
Where I was advised to, “Please Mom, calm down.”

I smiled at my little man and still felt quite bothered,
I wondered, Should I talk to that girls’ mother or father?

So I feel the need to ask,
What’s worked for you in the past?

How would you have handled the situation,
as there seems to be a “not-WHO” inflation!?!?

If you were in my shoes…
What would you do-es?

You know today’s Wednesday so I need to inquire.
Wassup? Is the matter that I find dire.

tags,

I’m really excited that God’s released me to begin working on my very first eBook!

I must tell you that I do see some humor…again. I finished a week long series on holding patterns this Friday. Then God woke me this Saturday morning, (on a very blessed Saturday morning – AKA: the day I can sleep in because we had no early ball games), at 530am for a 3 hour talk. At the end of the talk, God answered a very long standing prayer with something other than a “Wait, not yet.”

God said, “Yes, it is time. Begin writing.”

I’ve made some adjustments to allow more time to make this happen.

Two months ago, I had a self revelation that I got two get more better righting….(he, he!)

So, since I have to get better writing…school is in session today!

I’m in school all day today. Grammar s.c…h…o….o…..l that is. Pass the coffee, would ya?

I’ve read other bloggers that get beat up by their readers for their poor grammar. If there’s a blogger that needs to get beat up…it’s me.

I’d first like to say, “THANK YOU!” for the grammar-if-ic grace.

The next thing I’d like to say is, I promised God that I’ll do whatever necessary to strengthen my communications because He’s worth well placed apostrophes, correct grammar and so much more!

I’m pretty sure blingalicious is both a word and grammatically correct. And, if it’s not…I’m rebelling.  Cool

James 4:6 says that, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

It’s time I eat some more calorie free humble pie…

I’ve been to two difference writer’s conferences where I was surrounded with writers that have known their entire life that they were meant to be a writer.

For me, it was a surprise.   Shock

I have a long way to go in the writing world and I will do my best to never stop learning and honing a craft once ever so foreign to me.

I’m going to grammar school all day on Monday because I’m seriously committed to being the best writer I can be.

I do hope I’m not the class dunce! If you saw the way I diagrammed a sentence in high school, you’d know why this is a very real concern for me. Party

I hope you LIVE your life to it’s fullest allowing your past, present and future to be for God’s Glory!

Have you ever changed professions? Was it humbling?
