Here in Nothern Virginia we’ve been blasted with a blizzard…at least 24 inches of snow.
On Thursday, they announced school was closed Friday.
On Friday, it snowed like nobody’s business. The Fink Fam hibernated.
On Saturday, they announced that church was closed Sunday. Also, school would be closed Monday and Tuesday the following week. The Fink Fam shoveled….and shoveled.
Did I mention we shoveled?
On Sunday, we had some church up in here…
Yup, in our jammies, we had some great “church” up in here…
And now, we’re going out to have some “church” up out there. In the snow. To see who we can bless with our shovels. First hit, the elderly couple on the corner.
The church isn’t a building, it’s the people. Sometimes they are housed IN the building of the church, and other times…not so much.
Most of us have been to church, many times. Let’s BE the church. The hands and feet of Christ…that’s the church.
